Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 days a week

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency care for adult patients, coordinating and implementing nursing interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on clinical urgency.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess conditions regularly.
• Provide emergency care for various cases, including trauma and medical emergencies.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technology for patient assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and valid NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in an ER setting
• Proficiency in various clinical skills, including IV therapy and cardiac monitoring
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory
