Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room, specializing in adult care. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of emergency situations and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for adult patients with various diagnoses.
• Administer IV therapy, including blood products and central line care.
• Perform triage and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP.
• Assist in trauma care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (not compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Experience with adult emergency procedures and critical care management.
