Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Nights

Schedule

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) with options of 36 or 48 hours weekly. At least 6 weekend shifts are required in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team for night shifts. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a patient load effectively. Candidates should be comfortable with a diverse patient population and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care and management for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize advanced skills in critical care management, including the management of ventilated patients and administration of blood products.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on clinical necessity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, with prior charge experience preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Experience in trauma-level facilities is preferred (Level I and II).
• Must possess a valid RN license and be able to provide proof of required certifications.
