Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; floating is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the staff available.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience as an RN.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, & ENPC certifications are required.
• NRP certification is preferred.
• Fingerprinting is required for all travelers.
