Weekends Only: Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Job Description

The Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) is responsible for performing Point of Care Testing in the Emergency Room setting. This role will involve clinical laboratory testing and some clerical duties to support the operations of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Point of Care Testing as required.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director.
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with laboratory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent.
• Point of Care Testing knowledge preferred.
