Nuclear Medicine Technologist - 13 Weeks Contract

Days (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM), with options for 4x9's or 5x8's at 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to provide diagnostic information to physicians. The technologist will also ensure the safe and effective use of imaging equipment while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging studies.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure quality control of images.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data.
• Provide patient care and support to ensure comfort and understanding during procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety practices at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
• Current New Jersey state licensure as required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (RT (N)) or CNMT certification required.
