Registered Nurse - MCICU / CORICU

This is an 18-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3 - 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the MCICU / CORICU unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care for critically ill patients across both medical and cardiology specialties, including sepsis, pneumonia, ARDS, heart failure, and more.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including continuous sedation and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; proficiently operate telemetry systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other ICU units and border areas as necessary to meet facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with vents, telemetry, and conscious sedation is essential.
• Knowledge of CRRT, IABP, and Impella operations is preferred.
• Compact Nursing License accepted; pending licenses are not accepted.
