Registered Nurse - Oncology / MS Tele

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends and holidays required as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. You will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. Your role includes identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Chemo certification required.
• Hard skills: IV insertion, phlebotomy, and basic nursing skills.
