Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion Center

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Shift hours may vary based on department needs.

Job Description

The Outpatient Infusion Center provides comprehensive infusion services including chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, therapeutic phlebotomy, and supportive infusions for oncology and specialty infusion patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy/biotherapy.
• Perform medical infusions, injections, and central line blood draws.
• Conduct therapeutic phlebotomies.
• Utilize Varian/Aria for charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient oncology/infusion is required.
• Active RN license in New Jersey or Compact license is required at the time of submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card is required.
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification is preferred.
