Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Night Shift position in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit. Candidates should have experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding and skills relevant to neuro patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the LTAC setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including complex wound care and management of dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician instructions and established protocols.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required.
• Experience in LTAC nursing preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR.
