Registered Nurse - Emergency Department / Medical-Surgical

3-night shifts per week: 7 PM - 7 AM.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations. This role involves assessing and stabilizing patients with life-threatening injuries or illnesses, and delivering compassionate care in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and triage patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and provide treatment as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during crises.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practices in patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience in both Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical nursing.
