Schedule

Schedule: Rotating shifts (Day/Eve/Night), Every Other Weekend, Holidays/On-Call/Callback as needed. No straight shift schedules.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice. The role includes assuming responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent patient care in a telemetry unit.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities and mentor new staff as a preceptor.
• Participate in unit committees and quality assurance initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of nursing experience required.
• NY RN License (only NY licenses accepted).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
