Registered Nurse - PCU

Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry and stepdown-level care, with a focus on cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and patient management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and stepdown-level care for adults and geriatrics.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and blood products.
• Perform central and peripheral line care and IV therapy.
• Ensure patient safety through monitoring and response protocols, including the use of Rapid Response and Code teams.
• Provide respiratory support, including oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.
• Maintain isolation precautions and adhere to PPE guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a telemetry or PCU setting.
• EPIC charting system experience is required.
