Day shift; 4x12-Hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

A highly skilled Registered Nurse is needed for a mixed unit in an acute care hospital. The candidate will provide high-acuity care and must be comfortable floating to various departments as required. The role involves working with cardiac telemetry patients, post-surgical patients, and managing complex patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to ED for Med-surg holds, PRN to Women Center, or ICU as needed.
• Participate in Rapid Response teams and provide care during emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a mixed unit or similar setting.
• Active RN license in Florida or compact state.
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Experience managing high-acuity patients with a 1:6 patient ratio.
• Familiarity with Meditech charting system preferred.
