Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00). Must be available to work mandatory shifts for clinical orientation week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills and experience in a mixed unit setting, working with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Work as part of a rapid response team.
• Administer medications and treatments based on prescribed protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required.
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain before the start date.
• Valid RN licensure in the state of Florida or compact RN license.
• Experience with mixed units and high acuity patients is strongly preferred.
