Registered Nurse - Med/Tele - Nights

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts available: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, requiring either 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Tele unit. This unit features 40 beds and provides care to patients with both medical and telemetric needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in the Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and perform assessments as per hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using EPIC electronic medical records.
• Be prepared to float to other units as needed and work in charge if required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification required.
