Registered Nurse - IMCU

Schedule

Night shift: 12 hours, 4 days on, 4 days off.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients with a variety of conditions and will work collaboratively with medical staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients experiencing sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy.
• Administer heparin drips and ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• Provide compassionate care and support to both patients and their families.
• Document patient progress and updates in medical records accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an IMCU or similar environment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Valid RN license.
