Registered Nurse - IMCU

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 4 days on.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse for the IMCU will provide high-quality patient care for a diverse population, including patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy. The nurse will be responsible for administering heparin drips and monitoring patient conditions closely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the IMCU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities in compliance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or IMCU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active RN license in good standing.
