Shift: 3x12s, Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for monitoring telemetric patients and ensuring their safety and comfort during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings, responding to changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in accordance with best practices.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities in the medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing role.
• Current SC RN license or Compact license required.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Telemetry competency required, with preferred experience in charge nurse roles and community hospitals.
