Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and rare on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate must be able to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 and will be required to float between like units as necessary. Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in emergency response teams when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience.
• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred.
• Epic experience required.
