Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Nurse to provide care in Metabolic Surgery and Neurology. Ideal candidates will be proficient in patient care, with a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role requires flexibility to float per facility guidelines and work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing metabolic surgery and neurology treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Med/Surg nursing experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active nursing license with no infractions.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Valid driver’s license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
