Oncology Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a). Candidates will work 36 hours scheduled with a guaranteed 24 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for a challenging role. Candidates must be experienced and willing to meet weekend and holiday requirements and float per facility guidelines. Navy scrubs are required, and successful candidates must start on the listed start date or no more than one week later.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the medical team.
• Assist with patient education and emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create an effective care plan.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months Med/Surg experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI are required.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Candidate's driver’s license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
