Orthopedic Medical/Surgical Nurse

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Medical/Surgical Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures. This is a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and patients’ conditions and react to any changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding orthopedic conditions and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Med/Surg nursing experience with recent exposure in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no infractions in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved provider.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
