Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN) to join our newly established unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry setting. Our unit is equipped with bedside monitors capable of tracking telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias accurately.
• Administer medications and perform patient assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain proper isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
• Provide patient education and support for chronic conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Current South Carolina RN license or a compact license in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
