Day shifts, 3x12 hours (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM). Rotating weekend shifts required.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a new unit built from the ground up, providing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring. The RN will be responsible for administering care, observing patient telemetry, and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vitals and telemetry data, identifying any significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Float within department as required to meet facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience.
• South Carolina RN license or a Compact license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
