Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12 Hours)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing complex medical conditions, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in acute care settings and be skilled in a variety of clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage and monitor patients on heparin drips and blood products.
• Perform wound care and manage surgical drains and chest tubes.
• Provide care for patients with colostomies and feeding tubes.
• Conduct phlebotomy and IV starts.
• Participate in the management of dysrhythmias and O2 protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the last 5 years.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic documentation is essential.

Schedule

This is a night shift position working 3x12 hours, with a schedule of 18:45 to 07:15. Shift requirements include every other weekend.
