Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Day shift: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery will provide specialized nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the health and safety of both mother and neonate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries.
• Circulate for C-sections and provide recovery care.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and monitor fetal heart rates via external fetal monitoring.
• Maintain central lines and administer medications as required.
• Triage obstetrical patients, follow isolation precautions, and ensure the safety of all patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications accepted).
• Charge nursing experience is beneficial.
