Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Neuro unit. The Nursing professional will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics with neurological issues. The position operates on a 3x12-hour night shift schedule, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy
• Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in rapid response teams and emergency protocols
• Document patient care and progress using the Epic charting system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent Med Surg or Neuro nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI certification preferred
• Ability to float to like units as needed
