Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with recent experience in Behavioral Health to join our team in a beautiful new 120-bed facility. This position requires flexibility to float between various units including Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients, based on the needs of the facility. The Adult patient population has low acuity, ensuring a manageable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to behavioral health patients across different age groups.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
• Participate in the development of patient care plans and documentation using EHR Wellsky.
• Administer medications and manage treatments via Omnicell medical systems.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and handle patient crises effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric nursing experience.
• Experience with de-escalation techniques, specifically “Handle with Care” or equivalent (CPI certification preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of Indiana.
