Night shifts: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 36-hour weekly guarantee.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a beautiful new 120-bed behavioral health facility. The RN must be comfortable working across various units, including Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric (55+), and may be floated to any unit as needed. The facility is currently opening unit by unit and serves an adult patient population with low acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition using EHR Wellsky.
• Administer medications through the Omnicell system as per guidelines.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and manage patient behavior effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• Experience with de-escalation methods, particularly Handle with Care or CPI, is a plus.
• Current RN license is required.
