Registered Nurse - IMCU/PCU Night Shift

Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed).

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Medical Care Unit (IMCU). The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various diagnoses in a fast-paced environment, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases. Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle specialty equipment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the IMCU unit.
• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform necessary assessments and documentation in EMR (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
• Current RN License in New York with active verification.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must provide a skills checklist matching the specialty.

Patient Demographics

Care for patients aged 18 years and older. The unit has a total of 64 beds, with 15 designated for neuro patients.
