Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a night shift position specializing in trauma and neurological care. The successful candidate will provide essential nursing services to patients with severe injuries, including orthopedic and neurotrauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Administer heparin drips, blood products, and manage various forms of central and peripheral lines.
• Provide wound care, colostomy care, feeding tube management, and tracheostomy care.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV starts as required.
• Manage dysrhythmias and follow O2 protocol management.
• Care for patients with traumatic brain injuries and surgical drains.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines as necessary.
• Float to similar units as needed and participate in weekend rotations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience within the last 5 years.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic documentation is required.
