Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit

Schedule

This position involves night shifts, with a schedule of 4 shifts of 12 hours each from 18:45 to 07:15. A commitment to either 36 or 48 hours per week is accepted.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team on a Neuro Unit, where you will focus on providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals to promote patient safety and enhance the healing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neuro-related conditions.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing role, preferably in a neuro setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other units as necessary.
