Occupational Therapist (OT) Contract Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekends every 4 weeks. Holiday rotation included, and start times may vary.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 24 months of occupational therapy experience, with at least 12 months of recent acute care experience. Preference will be given to candidates with Level I trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and goals.
• Implement therapy interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all department guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 24 months of occupational therapy experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active state license with no hits on the license to practice.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
