LPN/LVN - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. Floating may be required based on facility needs. Every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The LPN/LVN will provide acute care to patients, performing essential nursing tasks and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with various procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration
• Monitoring of MS/Tele patients
• Management of dysrhythmias and rapid response protocols
• Peripheral line care and oxygen administration
• Compliance with isolation precautions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience required
• Current NY State LPN/LVN license required
• BLS certification and 8 hours of stroke education required
