Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our rehabilitation hospital, specializing in caring for patients recovering from significant medical events or illnesses. The RN will play a vital role in providing multidisciplinary care focused on helping patients regain their independence and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for effectiveness and side effects.
• Manage patient care for a caseload of 1:7, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assist with advanced rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based practices.
• Educate and involve families in the recovery process to support patient outcomes.
• Float to long-term acute care or other units as needed, managing med-surg patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Travel experience preferred.
