Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule

This position operates on a variable schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty and possess the necessary certifications. This role involves critical patient care and monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient health and intervene when necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification required.

Contract Length

This is a 13-week contract position.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
