Job Description

We are seeking a caring and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in a beautiful new 120-bed behavioral health facility. The nurse will work with various patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, and may be floated to any unit as needed. The facility is currently opening unit by unit, focusing on an adult patient population with low acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an environment focused on mental health.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques as necessary.
• Document patient care and interactions accurately using EHR Wellsky.
• Administer medication through the Omnicell system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience.
• Experience with de-escalation techniques; Handle with Care or CPI certifications are preferred.
• Current RN license valid in the state of Indiana.
