Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics/NICU Level 4

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The clinician will work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in Pediatrics, specifically in a NICU Level 4 and Pediatric Cardiac environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to neonates, infants, and adolescents, ensuring best practices in a fast-paced teaching hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions for pediatric patients.
• Evaluate and monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust care as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment in accordance with facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certification as a RRT, BLS, and PALS are required.
• Experience with neonates and pediatric patients is essential.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider License is required at the time of start.
