Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics/NICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, working 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Requires holiday rotation and every other weekend availability.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work within the Pediatric and NICU units, providing critical respiratory care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. The clinician will be responsible for assessment, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions, ensuring high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and response to treatment.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administer treatments such as bronchodilators and oxygen therapy.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of pediatric and neonatal respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Current RRT certification and State Licensure in South Carolina required.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Epic experience preferred.
