Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics/NICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM with holiday rotation. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in pediatrics and NICU Level 4 environments. The successful candidate will provide exceptional respiratory care for infant and pediatric patients, specifically within a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to neonates and pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer therapies and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimizing patient care plans.
• Maintain proficiency with NICU equipment and ensure all procedures are carried out safely and efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric and neonatal respiratory care.
• Valid RRT certification, South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required at start.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are necessary.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred.
