Registered Nurse - Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 5 shifts, comprising 8 hours each, from 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Scheduled weekends off require prior approval and finding coverage. Rotating holidays and every other weekend shifts are expected.

Job Description

The role involves performing charge nurse responsibilities while possibly floating to similar units within the hospital. Uniforms must comply with the hospital policy, requiring navy blue scrubs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in the inpatient addiction rehab setting.
• Perform charge nurse duties, including supervision of nursing staff and organization of patient care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active and valid state nursing license (RN).
• Completion of a background check and health assessments as required.
• Current certifications in relevant health screenings, including MMR, TB test, and Hepatitis B.
