3x12 Hour Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a new, state-of-the-art medical-surgical telemetry unit. This nurse will work directly with patients to monitor vital signs and telemetry readings while effectively collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ telemetry and vital signs using bedside monitoring equipment.
• Provide a high level of care to a patient load of 1:6.
• Float as needed within the unit to assist with patient care and ensure safe staffing levels.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for effective patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Active South Carolina RN license or compact license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
