7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled, with 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to float to Baywood and Heart ICU, as well as to Progressive Care Units (PCUs) as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to various situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patients’ health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Float to different units as needed, ensuring continuity of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS and ACLS required).
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
