Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Nurse

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled per week and 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVICU Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will float to Baywood and Heart ICUs and PCUs as needed. This position may require on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing updates to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience (with recent experience in the last 12 months).
• Active life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS and ACLS).
• No hits on state license to practice; license must be actively verified.
• Candidate's driver's license is required to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
