CVICU Registered Nurse - Contract Position

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled/24 hours guaranteed, with potential on-call requirements.

Job Description

The CVICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The role requires the ability to float between various units, specifically Baywood and Heart ICU as needed. Candidates must be flexible regarding locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the offer process.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to CVICU patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months CVICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Driver’s license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
