Registered Nurse - Med/Telemetry - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) with a rotation including 36 and 48 hours available per week.

1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend required. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team on the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which comprises 40 beds. You will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients with diverse medical and telemetry needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and assessment of patient conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with charge duties as needed and be flexible in floating to other units as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification required.
