Shift: 7P - 7:30A, every other weekend

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality healthcare and be adaptable to the varying needs of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform emergency procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, and TPA administration for sepsis and stroke patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient care effectively.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Support behavioral health watch as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• PALS or ENPC certification
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Meditech documentation experience preferred
