Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role requires an emphasis on delivery of high-quality therapy services while ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records clearly, concisely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and ensure compliance with insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student program, offering supervision and feedback.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Demonstrate awareness of performance improvement initiatives and actively participate in maximizing outcomes.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 schedule, beginning on November 2nd.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state licensure in good standing.
