Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, you will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiac-related procedures and diagnoses. This role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment and monitoring in a cardiac stepdown unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide support to patients and families regarding care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Current RN license in New Mexico (or compact state)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification preferred
